When I first saw these images in my November 2011 Vogue, I was completely intrigued and inspired. I particularly love the shot of Mara where she is laying in the ferns, the dress and her body position gives this sense of a dreamy cloud blended in amogst the green. Mara reminds me of a burlesque version of snow white in these shots.
I just finished reading The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. The anti-social, computer hacker, Lisbeth Salander is a character that you are immediately drawn into. Rugged, authentic, quirky, driven, and compassionate it is easy to loose yourself for hours in her story. Naturally I wanted to become a computer hacking research genius, with a photographic memory, after reading this book!
